It's a Good Day
I spoke with Sandy earlier today and she is feeling really well and very happy that things went so easy yesterday. I won't be posting here everyday until the real surgery gets scheduled. It is tentatively on the books for the late part of September but Sandy is hoping it will get moved up. So thanks again for your good thoughts and prayers, see you soon!

El Pollo Loco for Dinner
I'm happy to report that Sandy is home and just finished having El Pollo Loco (pollo bowl) for dinner. She is feeling good and is now ready to get the real surgery (hysterectomy) scheduled as soon as possible. I'm happy the day turned out so well, thank you for those prayers and good wishes!
Success - Great News!
I just spoke with Sandy and all is well. The procedure went better than expected and no problems were found with Sandy's heart. She is resting now and will be released in three hours to go home. She has to lie really still right now, but she sounded much better than she did this morning! The Dr. told her the stress test must have been wrong because there is nothing wrong with her heart and she is fine!
Angiogram Day
I spoke with Sandy at 10:15am. She is in the waiting room for her angiogram. She is scared and couldn't really talk much - which makes me very anxious and nervous. Please keep her in your prayers today.

Dinner with Sandy & Jeff
Troy and I met Sandy and Jeff for an early dinner at (where else..) Don Jose's in Riverside. We hadn't had Don Jose mexican food since early May. Yummy! Jeff had a great story about Las Vegas, he apparently had an exceptional time at a concert.
Sandy wanted me to let you know she is scheduled for an angiogram on Wednesday, at noon - at Riverside Community Hospital. It is an out patient procedure but she is expecting they will keep her overnight since the process isn't going to start until noon. I'll post every little tidbit of info that I have. Thanks for reading!

Anyone Out There?
Ok, is anyone really out there? I have to wonder if this blog thing will work out. I'm thinking about the week ahead and hoping all will be well with Sandy. I think I'll try to add a photo to this post to see if it works.

The Beginning
Today is Friday, August 20th. As you know Sandy is going to have medical procedures, tests, and what-not over the next few weeks. Sandy has asked me to keep you updated by keeping this blog updated and you can check it as often as you'd like. This is sort of a test post, so I hopes this works!
